A blissful moment surrounded by nature in every season, enjoying a natural radon hot spring.

Nestled within the Aichi Kogen Quasi-National Park, Sarunabe Onsen "Kinsen-kaku" offers a serene retreat. Enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the seasons and rejuvenate your body and mind with our rare Radon Onsen. The guest rooms and large public baths have been newly renovated, and private open-air baths have also been added. Each guest room features a semi-open-air bath where you can fully experience the Radon Onsen. Savor healthy kaiseki cuisine made with fresh local ingredients.

  • We stayed here for our first trip to show appreciation to my parents. Hoping my mother with rheumatoid arthritis could enjoy the Onsen, we chose a Room with a private bath. The food was excellent—especially the broth, which was outstanding, and I ended up drinking all of it with every dish. All of the staff were courteous, and even the cleaning staff stopped to greet us. My mother was very happy as well. We would like to stay here regularly. Thank you very much.

  • Upon entering the Accommodation, you are welcomed by lovely lamps and antiques. The staff were also very courteous. The Onsen lived up to its reputation as a “miraculous therapeutic spring,” with excellent water. The cuisine focused on locally sourced ingredients. As someone from Kyoto, I felt the flavors were slightly strong, but still well within an acceptable range. With a Multiple Night Stay, it’s often the case that dinner becomes noticeably less impressive compared to the first night, but here there was no need to worry at all. The tableware was also thoughtfully chosen, making the meal even more enjoyable.A few disappointments: there were no samue loungewear provided; despite having a semi-open-air bath in the Room, there was no bathrobe; and the towels felt inexpensive.Overall, it was an Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction. I would like to visit again in a different season.
