Its concept is a modern spa resort themed around “recovery.” With an Onsen in every Room, you can fully enjoy Takeo Onsen, boasting 1,300 years of history, without leaving your Room. True to its name as a spa resort, in addition to the in-room Onsen baths, the property features indoor and outdoor spas and two types of sauna spaces. For dining, please savor an innovative Japanese kaiseki course that highlights the bounty of local Saga ingredients, including Saga beef.   • Comfortable Rooms and Amenities

    The Onsen is the main highlight, and with a full range of comfortable amenities, I was able to enjoy a truly fulfilling day. After working up a sweat at the gym, I played a little table tennis and felt like a kid again. The sauna is spacious and made of wood, and there is also a mist sauna—I did five rounds in total. To finish, I relaxed in the shallow pool and took a break with a draft beer. The large public bath left me feeling refreshed.

  • A family trip to celebrate a hospital discharge

    We stayed here with two families on this trip.It was a trip to celebrate my mother’s discharge from the hospital. Because she has trouble walking and the weather was bad, she wasn’t looking forward to it until the day before, but she was glad we came and was very satisfied. This was my third stay, and I was a little worried about the half-board plan, but the meals and portions were more than satisfying for my mother and the others. There were also some improvements, such as complimentary drinks at dinner.Thank you for your help and for responding each time we needed assistance.
