In March 2026, the villa-style rooms at ITOMACHI HOTEL 0 were reborn as “Annex Aoyama Ryokusui.” This is a special retreat designed for unhurried stays, where you can feel Saijo’s rich nature and the blessings of its pure water. Each room features a natural Onsen bath, allowing you to soak whenever you like and enjoy a moment that lets you forget everyday life. “Aoyama Ryokusui” is a phrase that describes an ideal land blessed with beautiful mountains and clear water. It embodies the very character of Saijo, at the foot of Mt. Ishizuchi—the highest peak in western Japan—where renowned “Uchinuki” spring water wells up. Seasonal local cuisine, Onsen bathing, and quiet time—experience a refined stay possible only in Saijo, Ehime.

In the Hotel wing, we offer a wide range of guest rooms to suit diverse needs, from business and sightseeing to cycling trips. Our lineup includes bike-friendly rooms popular with cyclists visiting the Shimanami Kaido and Mt. Ishizuchi areas, as well as family rooms ideal for families and groups. Featuring a calm atmosphere with the warmth of wood and comfortable Facility, our rooms are also suitable for long-term stays. The architectural design of ITOMACHI HOTEL 0 was created by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma. In harmony with Saijo’s rich natural surroundings and water culture, the Hotel features a warm, inviting atmosphere with abundant use of wood. The entire building embodies ideas of connection with the local community and circularity. As Japan’s first zero-energy Hotel, it reduces environmental impact while achieving both comfort and outstanding design—recognized with the 2024 Good Design Award and the iF Design Award 2025. RECEPTION CAFE can be used not only as the breakfast venue, but also as a cafe lounge service area and a lounge space where guests can relax freely during their stay. For breakfast, we offer menus that make the most of Saijo’s local bounty, including fresh vegetables and eggs delivered from local farmers. Choose your main dish and enjoy a half-buffet to start your day. Guests staying in eligible rooms can also enjoy our cafe lounge service, including tea-time sweets and soft drinks, as well as cocktail-time drinks and appetizers. (Guests not staying in eligible rooms/Plans may use this service for an additional fee.) In this open, airy space filled with natural light from large windows, enjoy your time however you like—reading, chatting, or planning your trip.
