On fortunate days, you may even witness a sea of clouds after the rain. Each villa features a private garden with an open-air bath and an outdoor living area, offering a panoramic view of Taki's natural beauty. The rooms, consisting of a bedroom and a living room, are spacious at 100 square meters. To harmonize with the surrounding nature, the exterior of the villas is crafted with locally sourced cedar painted black, while the interiors feature walls of white plaster and black-painted flooring, creating a soft and serene atmosphere.
We planned a trip to Mie with the hope of making a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage to Ise, and chose to stay at VISON Villa after being drawn to how wonderful it looked. The Room was clean and refreshing, simple yet very user-friendly, and the garden view from the bath was deeply soothing.We stayed for three nights, and for breakfast we had: (1) the Nouniyell buffet, (2) takeout from Mariage de Farine (bread with soup, salad, and dessert), and (3) takeout from Ureshino Tofu Nose—everything was excellent. In particular, the bento from Ureshino Tofu Nose may have been the best takeout meal I’ve ever had. Relaxing in the Room, we enjoyed glossy freshly cooked rice along with plenty of piping-hot side dishes rich with dashi—it was the ultimate luxury in the morning.For lunch and dinner as well, we tried various places within VISON and also got takeout; everything was delicious. The lean tuna sashimi we had after the tuna cutting show was outstanding. The villa also has a large sink in the Room, so eating in and cleaning up afterward felt easy and stress-free. We also ordered Nouniyell room service—meat and Caesar salad delivered freshly made—and it was truly delicious.Honsou-yu was wonderful too; even in midsummer there was a cool breeze at the outdoor bath area, allowing us to relax completely.It was easy to drive to both Ise Grand Shrine and Toba Aquarium, making this an amazing trip overall. We were also grateful for all of the VISON staff’s thoughtful yet unobtrusive hospitality—it was a genuinely happy stay. We definitely want to come again.Thank you very much.
This was our first visit since it has been getting so much attention. The vast grounds are filled with many carefully curated shops, including dining and retail, and our whole family truly enjoyed ourselves (we even wished we could have stayed for a Multiple Night Stay). The staff’s hospitality was also excellent—thank you for taking such good care of us.
