For the Next Century
"Reevaluating Modern Convenience"
**"The Unease of Perfection"**
Modern design often strives for perfection, leaving no room for imperfection. This pursuit mirrors the fast-paced nature of contemporary society.
**"Lessons from a Small Medieval Hotel in Europe"**
During a work trip, I stayed at a small medieval hotel in rural France. The centuries-old building had uneven floors and misaligned doors, but its handcrafted wooden structure exuded warmth and charm absent in modern architecture. Today’s synthetic materials may be convenient, but what we aim to offer is a different value—embracing imperfections like creaking floors or iron hooks on furniture to evoke simplicity and warmth that feels extraordinary yet familiar.
**"A Timeless Shelter and Garden for Future Generations"**
We aspire to create a shelter where guests can escape the rush of daily life—a place free from artificial distractions. It may not be an opulent hotel, but it harmonizes with nature without disrupting native wildlife or ecosystems. Our goal is to resonate with and preserve the natural world around us.
Your stay at our Hotel might require some extra effort here and there, but this philosophy is deeply important to us—not just for today, but for the next century.
