  • We were very satisfied and able to relax!

    I was looking for a quiet, hidden-gem Ryokan where I could truly relax. When I found VillaRyusei on IKYU, I knew this was the one and made a Reservation right away. It felt like staying in a cottage in the woods—exactly what I had imagined. On the day of arrival, I was running a little late for check-in, but when I called to let them know, they kindly accommodated me and adjusted the meal time accordingly. The service was attentive, and with in-room dining and an open-air bath, I was able to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

  • We had a relaxing stay.

    We chose this Accommodation to relax, as the Room has a bath and we could also dine in the Room. The Room is a maisonette style, with a living area on the upper floor, where we enjoyed our meal while looking out over Ago Bay. On the lower floor there is a bedroom, an indoor bath, and an open-air bath. The water temperature was just right, so we could soak for a long time without feeling unwell, and truly unwind. There is also a lounge chair beside it, so wrapping up in a bathrobe and enjoying the breeze might be nice. For dinner, spiny lobster and abalone were prepared in our preferred cooking styles, so we were able to enjoy different preparations between us. From the appetizer to dessert, everything used local ingredients, and we enjoyed tasting each dish while listening to the explanations. As it is located within a resort area, it was quiet with no noise, and we were able to spend peaceful time. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made us want to visit again.

About Hygiene Measures
At VillaRyusei, as part of our COVID-19 prevention measures, we have implemented the following: ・We use a contactless temperature sensor camera (HESTA Security Gate) to record guest entry and to monitor staff temperatures. ・We have installed HESTA Air Clean air purifiers (average virus removal rate of 99% or higher), suitable for areas up to 60 tatami mats, in the lobby where guests and staff frequently pass through. ・In addition to before and after meals, we regularly disinfect and sanitize Rooms, the bar, and shared Facilities. ・All staff are required to wear masks at all times. Guests are kindly asked to wear a mask except when staying in their Room or when eating/drinking. Please note that our Accommodation has a total of nine Rooms.
