A wellness resort with only 4 rooms nestled in Enoura. Enjoy a relaxing moment to rejuvenate your mind and body.

Heading south from Odawara along Sagami Bay, you will encounter citrus orchards basking in the blessings of sparkling sunlight and dramatic cliffs. Enoura derives its name from "a picturesque coastline." Toyotomi Hideyoshi commissioned Sen no Rikyuu to construct a tea room here, and architect Bruno Taut admired it as "the Eastern Riviera." Enoura Retreat Rinmon, rooted in Enoura, aims to harness the land's blessings to rejuvenate the mind and body, aspiring to be a unique wellness resort.

  • My solo detox trip two weeks ago didn’t quite hit the mark, so I searched around and found this place, then made a last-minute Reservation. From the moment the staff member came to pick me up at the station, I felt at ease—it was like arriving at a relative’s home. And then straight to Lufuro. It was my first time so I was nervous, but I quickly fell in love with how comfortable the low-temperature mist felt. Before I knew it, I could spend time there without checking the clock, simply noticing my circulation and steady breathing—and somehow my mind settled too. Detox complete! And I was ready for dinner.I’m really into making medicinal cuisine right now, so I was genuinely excited. I savored each dish carefully and held back on beer for Lufuro’s sake. One bite of the restorative beets and my expectations shot through the roof. Then came three kinds of Keizen; as usual, I tasted them like solving a puzzle, but although one flavor felt familiar, it blended so perfectly with everything else that I couldn’t decode it. Total defeat.I’ve recreated dishes from other places after visiting them before—but this was on another level. I gave up trying to replicate it and focused on enjoying it instead. The dashi and seasoning were outstanding—bringing out every ingredient’s umami and natural sweetness. And that fragrant golden eye snapper… how on earth was it cooked??In the end, a small beer appeared after all. The next cut (kamenoko) was mysterious too—the more you ate, the more its flavor deepened.I even finished an entire pot of clay-pot cooked 18-grain rice (including as a late-night snack). Maybe thanks to Lufuro—despite eating that much, my body still felt refreshed.Above all, the menu composition is brilliant—from the first dish through to dessert—not only was every single item delicious, but it felt like everything became complete only when enjoyed as a whole course.Since I was traveling alone, the person in charge of service chatted with me about many things and made it such an enjoyable time. After dinner and another Lufuro session, two local beers plus late-night snacks somehow went down easily too.The next morning: Lufuro again followed immediately by breakfast. Every dish once again overturned what I thought “healthy” food tasted like—I finished everything comfortably and stress-free.My one-night stay ended in no time at all. A perfect comeback trip—I’m completely satisfied. This is a wonderful Accommodation that made me decide to return without fail every season.
