  • Outstanding hospitality.

    Because it is located on a hill, the views are wonderful, with the sea stretching out below and Hatsushima Island floating in the distance.The view from the entrance is spectacular.This time, I chose a room with a sauna and Onsen to soothe my tired body.They provided aroma oils for the sauna so I could do löyly, and having a cold plunge bath and an infinity chair made it perfect.The shared open-air bath also had excellent water quality; I used that sauna as well, and it was available from 6:00 a.m.The meals were also very delicious, and you can tell each dish is carefully prepared.There was plenty of food, and the freshly cooked rice was great too.Unfortunately I started feeling unwell and caused trouble for the staff, but I truly appreciate how kindly they took care of me.I would like to visit again when I’m feeling better and enjoy this Accommodation even more.

  • I was able to relax and take it easy!

    We stayed for one night starting on 7/29! It was just my son and me, and right after we arrived there were kid-friendly activities prepared—shaved ice and stencil-cutting—so we really enjoyed them together. After that we moved to our Room, and both of us were impressed by how spacious and clean it was. We didn’t use the Onsen in the Room, but the semi-private open-air bath felt almost like having it to ourselves, so I ended up going in three times during our stay (lol). After arriving, we took our time relaxing while visiting the different lounges. Dinner had slightly different menus for adults and children, but they were mostly the same, which made my son very happy. All drinks in the Room were included in the price as well, so we enjoyed a relaxed evening drink together with the provided beer and juice. Breakfast had an amazing variety of sides to go with rice—I could have eaten endless bowls. It was also great that refills of miso soup were available. Since it’s located up in the mountains, the view is incredible. This was our last day after traveling around various Hotels, and we had such a wonderful time that I genuinely felt sad to leave. The staff were also exceptionally polite and attentive—truly excellent service. Next time I’d like to come back with my wife.

Atami Onsen, with its rich history, is said to date back to the Nara period. Tradition holds that Mangan Shonin of Hakone Gongen moved the hot spring source through prayer to what is now known as the “Oyu Intermittent Spring” area. This natural Onsen features gentle water that feels soft and kind on the skin. Enjoy natural Onsen in our shared semi-open-air bath and private baths, and in every guest room as well.
