Enjoy renowned hot springs and the flavors of Shinshu at a tranquil accommodation nestled in the deep greenery of the mountains.

Surrounded by the lush greenery of Matsukawa Valley, cherished by many literary figures, Yamada Onsen, known as the "inner parlor of Zenkoji-daira," continues to convey the classic and charming atmosphere of onsen through Yamada-kan, a property with over 210 years of history.

  • The stay was very comfortable. The large public bath is available 24 hours, allowing you to take a relaxing soak even if you wake up in the middle of the night. The meals were delicious, and the service was excellent. I would love to stay here again.

  • This is my second stay, and once again, I was delighted by the delicious meals and the wonderful onsen. The Shine Muscat grapes I purchased at the shop last time were so delicious that they were one of the reasons for my return. This time, they kindly reserved some for me. The soothing onsen with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source makes me want to visit again.
