Renovating the warehouse and annex of the Important Cultural Property "Mikiya Residence," where "Kunio Yanagita," the father of Japanese folklore, spent his childhood at the age of 11. A <special space> has been created where you can relive experiences and enjoy a collection of books. We offer a "reading journey" that can only be experienced at NIPPONIA Harima Fukusaki, as if you have traveled back in time, surrounded by historical buildings and books.

NIPPONIA offers 7 unique types of guest rooms. Each room features a one-of-a-kind design, unlike any other. There are 3 rooms in traditional storehouses, 2 with a private retreat style, and 2 renovated from an old post office building. All rooms are equipped with refined interiors to ensure a comfortable stay.

The book curation brand "YOURS BOOK STORE" by Nippon Shuppan Hanbai Co., Ltd., known for projects like Bunkitsu and Hakone Honbako, has selected the collection. We offer approximately 1,000 carefully curated books, ranging from themes related to Fukusaki Town's yokai, travel, cooking, to picture books.

A space to enjoy vibrant local ingredients and conversations with loved ones.

We carefully select ingredients with a focus on "local production for local consumption," including organic vegetables from nearby farms, Tamba black chicken, and seasonal seafood from Harimanada.
