Introduction of the Accommodation
An atelier created by artist Case Owens. White plaster walls and stone walls finished by his own hands. The building itself is one of Owens’ works. Renovated from the former atelier, this Accommodation is limited to one group per day.
Born in 1958 in Jaarsveld, the Netherlands. He moved to Japan at the age of 23 and established atelier O-HUIS in Uwacho, Ehime Prefecture, where he continued creating works for 25 years. As a stone sculptor, ceramic artist, and painter, his works have been widely exhibited around the world, including in the United States, South Korea, Germany, and Japan. He is currently based in Michoacán State, Mexico.
Across the 4,000 m² grounds, artworks created by Owens over 25 years are displayed throughout. Enjoy an experience like staying in a museum.

The Facility features both an indoor bath and an open-air Onsen bath. Both offer a relaxing soak while enjoying views of the lake. Please enjoy the soothing sounds of nature.
The true peak season of ingredients lasts just one to two weeks. We cook in a way that brings out their natural vitality. That is why we keep embellishment to a minimum and serve dishes with deep, wholesome flavor.
Land area: 4,000 m². Indoor area: 200 m². Living room, kitchen, library, and a small Room. Two bedrooms, indoor bath, open-air bath, garden, terrace, and more. A truly luxurious space. Spa treatments and activities are also available.
A land of 1,400 m in elevation range—Seiyo City. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the sea, countryside, and mountains. We also offer sightseeing information and tours. Please contact us for details.
