  • Wonderful hospitality.

    While waiting for the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, they kindly offered cold drinks and showed thoughtful care in many ways, providing truly attentive hospitality. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was stylish—both the taste and presentation were very satisfying.

  • Mother-Daughter Trip

    I traveled with my elderly mother. After informing the property in advance, they prepared higher chairs in our room, and the stay was truly attentive in every way. The amenities were adorable, and it was fun to choose from them. The meals were delicious; I couldn’t finish the matsutake mushroom rice, but they kindly made it into rice balls for me to enjoy later. The hot spring was also wonderful—the gentle sulfur scent was soothing and made for a relaxing trip. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and we had a very comfortable stay. This is an accommodation I would recommend to friends.

Bessho Onsen, said to be the oldest Onsen in Shinshu with a history of 1400 years, features natural hot springs and historical buildings such as national treasures and important cultural properties in various locations. Enjoy strolling through "Bessho Onsen," the Kamakura of Shinshu.

Bessho Hot Springs with a faint sulfur aroma.

Bessho Onsen, the oldest Onsen in Shinshu with a proud history of 1,400 years. The water is mildly alkaline with a faint sulfur aroma, known as a "beauty bath." At night, you can enjoy the night view of Shiodadaira, and in the morning, take a refreshing morning bath while basking in the sunrise. The large public bath on the 6th floor features an open-air bath and is available 24 hours, along with a small sauna for your relaxation. Additionally, there is a private bath on the 6th floor, making it a safe and comfortable option for families with small children.

We offer five types of Rooms. From the Rooms, you can enjoy the seasonal countryside scenery, experiencing tranquility and relaxation. Choose your preferred stay style from Rooms with open-air baths, semi-suites, Japanese-Western style rooms, 12-tatami Japanese rooms, or 10-tatami Japanese rooms.

    Starting with stays on Monday, June 1, 2026, Nagano Prefecture will introduce an Accommodation Tax to promote sustainable tourism.
    Accordingly, an Accommodation Tax of JPY 200 per person per night will be charged separately. We appreciate your understanding.
