A guest room with an open-air bath filled with beautifying hot spring water, offering an elegant retreat stay.

Kiyohime Onsen, established in 1916 (Taisho 5), is the oldest Property in the Kirishima Onsen Hinatayama Onsen Village, boasting a long and rich history. Onsen Garden Yumotoan Kiyohime is a designer Ryokan with private open-air baths in every room, which grandly opened on December 3, 2018, as a new challenge for the next century by the long-established Ryokan (Kiyohime Onsen) with over 100 years of tradition. Kiyohime Onsen has long been cherished as an "Onsen for beautiful skin and a bringer of good fortune." We aim to continue preserving this precious Onsen and remain a beloved Property for all our guests. Our pride, the natural hot spring with free-flowing water directly from the source, known as "Bijin no Yu" (beauty bath), will soothe your daily fatigue. We hope you enjoy a comfortable space and a relaxing time without any worries. For a memorable stay or special occasions in Kagoshima, we invite you to create wonderful moments at Yumotoan Kiyohime.

  • The bath, meals, and Room were all very relaxing.

The private dining Room was spacious and set apart from the others, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace without any interaction with other guests. We were able to try both loin and belly pork for the shabu-shabu, and the vegetables were truly delicious. The staff were very courteous, and we had a wonderfully comfortable stay.At first I wondered about having sofas in the Onsen, but once I saw it in person, it made sense—and it was so comfortable that I was genuinely impressed.Thank you very much.
