  • A hidden retreat for adults?

    The onsen family bath with free-flowing hot spring water was gentle and very soothing. The cuisine was exceptional. The first experience of yuba (tofu skin) raised my expectations for the meal significantly. While the Bungo beef was outstanding, the fried Enoha fish was particularly remarkable. The view of Serikawa River, Ganiyu Onsen, and the onsen town from the room was full of charm and truly wonderful. This hidden gem of an onsen accommodation provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere for adults.

  • The First Visit to Nagayu Onsen

    I wanted to stay at a Property in Nagayu Onsen, so I made a Reservation at Marucho Ryokan. The owner and the staff were very kind, and the food was absolutely satisfying. The flowing Onsen was also incredibly satisfying. The view of the river and the spot-billed ducks (?) from the Room, as well as the Ganiyu, were very soothing. Marucho Ryokan is a place I would love to use again.
