It was truly the best two days in between the rainy season.I was able to let go of my everyday fatigue and stress. The view from the bath over the Kikuchi River was so breathtaking it felt like I could be drawn right in—I could have looked at it forever. The meals were refined and delicious, perfect for me. In particular, the Shichijo rice was outstanding—shiny and absolutely delicious. The front desk service was excellent as well.I would definitely love to visit again.

Renewed and reopened in March 2016, [Sora] is a popular Room type for three-generation trips and group trips. It is recommended for guests who want to enjoy a lively time together in one Room, such as families with children or long-awaited reunion trips. The Room features two separate bedrooms, and the Onsen is an indoor type that is always warm and ready for use. You can enjoy a relaxing stay while taking in the scenic views of the mountain stream. As there is only one Room available, please make your Reservation early.
Each Room is equipped with an Onsen flowing directly from the source. Indulge in the luxurious experience of enjoying the silky, skin-beautifying waters in your private bath. In addition to the Room, there are separate indoor baths for men and women in the large communal bath area. Spend a luxurious moment soaking in the water while enjoying the view of nature, the sound of the river, and the starry sky.
Meal
We offer creative kaiseki cuisine prepared with abundant ingredients from Kikuchi, Kumamoto. Enjoy seasonal ingredients that change with the seasons, including Kumamoto's black Wagyu beef grilled on a ceramic plate.
