In mid-May, the three of us—my mother in her late 80s and my husband and I—stayed here. Throughout our stay, the staff, including the proprietress, showed thoughtful care for my elderly mother, and we are truly grateful.The cuisine made the most of fresh seafood from Ise Bay, Matsusaka beef, and seasonal vegetables from Mie Prefecture. Each dish was carefully crafted and delicious; even my mother, who usually eats little, enjoyed her meals.The bath overlooking the beautifully maintained Japanese garden featured a gentle Onsen that felt kind to the skin, and we were able to relax and enjoy it many times during our stay.We stayed in “Tochi,” and were able to spend a comfortable time at ease in a Room richly finished with wood and on an open veranda. The Japanese garden was stunning; there were many hydrangea buds during our visit, and imagining how beautiful they would be in bloom made it all the more disappointing to leave without seeing them—but it was still an outstanding trip.

We were also impressed by the excellent service, including Shuttle Service to and from the property and a full set of Mikimoto lotion and cream. The Onsen was wonderfully silky and absolutely amazing. We’re glad we chose this place—thank you very much.

Limited to 5 groups per day, our villa-style standalone guest rooms offer a completely private space. Each villa is equipped with twin beds by Simmons, a Japanese-style room, and both an open-air bath and indoor bath featuring the renowned Sakakibara Onsen. Relax as if you were in your own vacation home. Please choose your preferred villa.
Our guest room open-air baths use a specially selected high-concentration source from the renowned Sakakibara Onsen, celebrated as a "beauty-enhancing hot spring." The silky smooth water invites you to touch your skin repeatedly, leaving it soft and supple after bathing. Enjoy the luxurious experience of Sakakibara Onsen, praised by Sei Shonagon as one of Japan's three famous hot springs, in the comfort of your room. Additionally, our indoor baths are crafted with abundant Kiso cypress wood. Immerse yourself in a blissful bath surrounded by the refreshing aroma of cypress.
