Sanga is an elegant Ryokan perched on a hill over 160 meters above sea level, beyond the bustle of central Atami, where you can savor exceptional cuisine and take in sweeping views of Sagami Bay and Atami’s secluded retreat. The name “Sanga” expresses both contrast and harmony—mountain and sea, everyday life and escape—and reflects our wish for you to spend time that feels “fully complete.” In this renewal, we are introducing a new Special Suite, Akari (“Light”), as the starting point for our warm hospitality. We will also refresh the furnishings of our existing guest rooms to create even more comfortable spaces. In addition, we are expanding our previously limited opening days, making Reservations available every day—including Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. You can now enjoy weekday luxury anytime: a peaceful escape from weekend crowds, wrapped in the sound of waves and quiet serenity. Refined Japanese style with modern design—our ultimate expression of hospitality. At the newly renewed Sanga, please enjoy your stay to the fullest as you feel the seasonal breeze.

    Because the Accommodation values privacy and is designed so you won’t run into other guests, I initially wondered if it might feel too quiet and a bit lonely (I had stayed at a Hotel with a lounge the day before, so I was used to being around people). However, as time passed, this sense of privacy became incredibly comfortable, and I found myself wishing I had booked a Multiple Night Stay instead of just one night.The meals were absolutely delicious, and the staff were wonderful. I’m truly glad I chose this Accommodation, and I would love to stay again if given the opportunity.

  • The outstanding loca...

    The outstanding location and delicious cuisine made our stay truly enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, we didn’t run into any other guests even once, so we were able to relax completely without any stress. It was also great to have a private dining area right next to our Room, allowing us to enjoy our meals without worrying about others. We didn’t need to walk around for the bath or meals, and could unwind comfortably in our Room. Even my husband, who rarely gives compliments, spoke very highly of everything.The courteous service from all the staff was also excellent, and we are truly grateful.
