We booked Kamenoi Bessou to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.They kindly prepared celebratory sekihan (red rice) for us, which made us very happy.We were able to relax and unwind in our room and enjoy the open-air bath at a leisurely pace.The shuttle service to the station was a great help.It is a wonderful inn in every way.The meals and the thoughtful hospitality of the staff were excellent,and we even received a commemorative chopstick rest when we checked out.It’s an inn that makes you want to come back again.

We offer 11 detached guest suites and six Western-style Rooms in the main building, where you can feel the changing beauty of the garden up close. Enjoy the unique character of each Room and spend your time as you wish in a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere.
Natural free-flowing Onsen water, drawn directly from the spring source in our garden, fills every bath in both the large public bath and all guest rooms. In the garden’s large public bath, you can enjoy the silky-smooth water all night long while taking in the scent of greenery and the starry sky.
Savor to the fullest the seasonal bounty of Yufuin, Oita—mountain vegetables, local farm vegetables, and meat dishes. Guests staying in the detached annex will be served in-room dining in their Room, while guests staying in the Main Building Western-style Room will be served at our on-site restaurant, “Hotaru Kaen.”
Sabo Tenjo Sajiki, BAR Yamaneko, Yamaga Cuisine Yunotake-an, and Saigoku Souvenir Kagiya. Each offers a charming space shaped by time—please relax to your heart’s content. Feel free to stop by during your stay or for a stroll after your bath.
