  • A comfortable, relaxing space

    Wanting to visit and see for myself the places where the gods are said to dwell, centered around Izumo Taisha, I made a Reservation at this Accommodation within walking distance of the shrine. It was about a 10-minute leisurely walk to Izumo Taisha, and along the way there were notable spots such as spring water used in Shinto rituals—an excellent location. Also, since the Room had an open-air bath, I could relax in the Onsen whenever I liked. The Room also had a calm Japanese-style atmosphere that helped me truly unwind. There was also a coffee set: grinding the beans myself with a mill, slowly pouring hot water, enjoying the aroma, and savoring each cup was something special. The meals were delicious as well—both dinner and breakfast. It was a one-night, two-day trip, but because this Accommodation was so wonderful, it felt as satisfying as staying two nights. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

  • We were able to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen.

    Although our stay was short due to a late arrival and early departure, we were able to enjoy both the open-air bath in our Room and the two large public baths.The Room was outdoors, unlike what was shown on the website, and I was surprised that there was no view at all; however, it seems first-floor guest rooms are designed that way.Neither of the two large public baths was crowded at night or early in the morning, and both the tubs and washing areas were well cleaned, allowing us to relax.We did not use breakfast, but we were able to enjoy the late-night “Yonaki Soba,” as well as ice cream after bathing. Combined with the convenient location near Izumo Taisha Shrine, it was a stay that made us want to return.
