My spouse and I stayed here with our parents, booking two separate buildings.After reading Reviews saying things like “the meals aren’t great for the price,” we honestly didn’t expect much—but there were no issues at all. The portions were more than enough (and you can order extra if needed), everything was delicious, and we had nothing to complain about.Of course, the bath was amazing. Unfortunately, we happened to be there during a typhoon and couldn’t see the stars at night, so we will definitely return—next time, I’d love to soak in the bath while looking up at a sky full of stars.One point: there was a mismatch between the breakfast time we thought we had communicated and the time the Accommodation had on record (it was later), which affected our morning departure time and plans afterward. To avoid any misunderstandings about who said what, it would be helpful if you could leave a written note confirming the requested times for dinner and breakfast.

Each Room has a large rock bath, and we enjoyed the wonderful view overlooking Lake Gosho while soaking—truly living up to the name “Kaikei.”On clear days, you can also see Mt. Iwate beautifully, but unfortunately it was cloudy all three days, so we’d like to come back again next time.
