SAZANA Accommodation “Shin-yu” COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines We have established new guidelines as additional preventive measures in preparation for reopening. As the state of emergency has been lifted in Shizuoka Prefecture, we will resume operations from June 13. Basic Infection Prevention Measures ・Avoid contact between staff and guests, and among guests as much as possible, and maintain physical distancing. ・Wear masks (staff and guests/visitors will be informed). ・Ventilate the Facility and Rooms. ・Regularly disinfect within the Facility. ・Ensure thorough handwashing, gargling, and alcohol sanitizing by staff. ・Conduct temperature checks for staff. Upon Entry / Check-in ・Mark standing positions to ensure spacing while waiting. ・Install transparent vinyl barriers at the front desk. ・Conduct temperature checks and provide alcohol sanitizing for guests. ・Provide alcohol sanitizer in elevators (EV), place tissues, and frequently disinfect elevator buttons. ・Thoroughly disinfect room keys. Rooms ・Wipe down and disinfect doorknobs. ・Wipe down and disinfect in-room items/equipment (TV remote controls, slippers, refrigerators, telephones, etc.). Large Public Bath (including the Main Building) ・Wipe down and disinfect lockers after each use. ・Suspend use of the sauna in the Main Building. ・Wipe down and disinfect amenities such as slippers and hair dryers after each use. ・Keep constant ventilation in the bathing area and changing room. Dining ・Ensure all staff wear masks at all times. ・Guests with fever, cough, or cold symptoms will be refused entry. ・Arrange seating with at least 2 meters between tables to maintain social distancing. ・Require thorough alcohol sanitizing upon entry. Services ・Guests will be asked to find their own way to their Room without escort service. ・Complimentary drinks are available in the lounge (with thorough disinfection measures). ・・Yukata robes can be selected from the yukata corner。 ・・We will omit explanations inside Rooms; instead, we will provide an information sheet with a Room layout map.
