  • A Highly Satisfying Trip to Izu

    A last-minute trip to Izu came up, and we stayed for two nights.We were extremely satisfied with the hospitality that far exceeded our expectations, the well-trained staff, the clean Room, and the delicious meals. Since we stayed in a Room with an open-air Onsen bath, we did not use the public bath, but everything was well maintained and it was a very satisfying trip.We will visit again.

  • Enjoy a comfortable stay at a traditional Ryokan.

    We requested a smoking-allowed corner Room, and it was more than spacious enough for two people. Even though it was a smoking Room, there was no cigarette smell or any unpleasant odor at all—it was very clean. The Onsen is a bit small, but some Rooms have an open-air bath, so it may not get too crowded. The meals were excellent. We dined in a private room, and my husband enjoyed having a meal while smoking for the first time in a while. The dishes—spiny lobster sashimi, dancing grilled abalone, and Wagyu steak—were all delicious. Breakfast was served in the same private room, and we could grill horse mackerel on a ceramic plate to our preferred doneness; he was also delighted that the Onsen egg was the real thing. Toi is quite an inconvenient place to get to, but I think it’s a great spot to enjoy delicious food and spend a relaxing time.

[By Car] About 55 minutes from the Toi-Numazu IC via the Izu-Jukan Expressway, Izu-Chuo Road, Shuzenji Road, Kita-Amagi Road (Tsukigase IC), and Route 136.
[By Train] From JR Mishima Station, take the Izuhakone Railway to Shuzenji Station. From Bus Stop No. 4 at Shuzenji Station, take the Nishi-Izu Tokai Bus for about 50 minutes and get off at “Toi Onsen,” then walk 200 m.
