Enjoy the magnificent scenery and seafood at a property overlooking the Sanriku Coast.

On a highland overlooking the cliff coastline of Sanriku Fukko National Park, we welcome you with 10 unique Rooms in the main building, observation tower, and detached building. All rooms feature large windows with ocean views and open-air baths. We serve Japanese-Western fusion cuisine made with fresh Sanriku seafood and local ingredients, prepared and served one dish at a time in private dining rooms.   • Enjoy gourmet cuisine at an Accommodation overlooking the Sanriku Sea

    The Room we were given was a complimentary upgrade to the Jiro building. It was very convenient: take the elevator to the private bath on the 4th floor, and go down to the dining area on the 1st floor. With wide openings, the spacious Room offers an open feel while looking out over the sea. Because each Room is separate, it feels like a private villa. The in-room amenities are thoughtfully provided down to every detail—I was surprised there was even an ice machine. Every meal was carefully prepared and beautifully presented. What especially stayed with me was how wakame seaweed accompanied many of the dishes. In the morning we walked to San-no-iwa Rocks; along that shore, where the rock surface has been carved away, it felt far more rugged than you would imagine from inside the Room. The Sanriku region is quite far away, but I’m glad we made the trip all this way.

With a total of 13 Rooms, our property consists of the Main Building, Detached Observation Wing, and Detached Wing, each offering uniquely designed Rooms. All guest Rooms feature open-air baths where you can relax while enjoying the soothing sea breeze and ever-changing ocean views to rejuvenate your mind and body.

Enjoy the flavors of Iwate and Taro with creative dishes made using abundant safe and delicious ingredients from Iwate Prefecture, including seafood from Sanriku and Taro, as well as pesticide-free organic vegetables directly delivered from local contract farmers.

On the 4th floor of the observation tower, we offer two private reservable baths. The open-air bath "Shibuki" without a roof allows you to enjoy the sparkling sunrise and a sky full of stars. The indoor bath "Shiokaze" offers stunning views, perfect for watching the sunset.
