Nestled in a vast 2,400-tsubo site surrounded by the three peaks of the Sanroku mountain range, "Shoujuen" is a small Onsen inn with only 13 rooms. The sukiya-style architecture, adorned with white walls and natural wood, exudes a soothing and tranquil atmosphere. The pride of the Property is its Onsen, featuring an indoor bath lined with natural stones, an open-air rock bath brimming with the essence of nature, and a private bath made entirely of cypress, each offering a playful and unique charm. At "Shoujuen," which carries the legend of the "Zashiki-warashi" among the many tales of Sarugakyo Onsen, we cherish the local history and culture.
