  • We had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

    The meals were luxurious and delicious, the Room was spotless, and the bath was wonderfully relaxing—there was nothing to complain about. The staff member in charge was very friendly and kind, so we felt completely at ease throughout our two-day stay. The massage was excellent as well; even though the weather wasn’t great, it didn’t bother us at all, and it turned into a truly satisfying trip. Thank you very much. We would love to visit again.

  • A Filial Trip to Taiwan with My 84-Year-Old Mother

    I visited Shiobara Onsen with my 84-year-old mother from Taiwan on a trip to show my appreciation. The inn is quiet and cozy, with only 11 rooms. Thanks to the staff’s warm hospitality, my mother felt at ease throughout our stay. Dinner was a kaiseki meal made with seasonal ingredients; this time we chose the rare soft-shelled turtle course. I was surprised when soft-shelled turtle blood was served as well, but it became a memorable food experience unique to traveling.The hot spring is 100% free-flowing from the source. We stayed in the “Izumo” room, a spacious guest room overlooking the Hoki River, with both an open-air bath and an indoor bath. The two private reservable baths were also large and beautiful, and what stood out most was that my mother could enjoy the hot spring without worrying about others.The scenery, cuisine, hot springs, and hospitality were all wonderful, and it became a precious memory with my mother.

  • Complete Non-Smoking Policy for 5 Rooms on the 1st Floor (Rooms with Open-Air Baths)

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Yunohana-so.

    Until now, smoking has been permitted on the terraces of five open-air bath Rooms on the 1st floor. However, in consideration of preventing passive smoking and to provide a more comfortable environment for all guests, these Rooms will be changed to completely non-smoking as of Monday, February 1, 2027.

    As a result, smoking will be prohibited at all times not only inside the Rooms but also on their terraces.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to guests who smoke, and we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

    For guests who wish to smoke, a designated smoking area is available inside the Accommodation (3rd-floor lobby). Please use this area.

Therefore, the Yuno Hanaso wagon Shuttle Service will end on September 30th, and we will provide information about the JR bus. Thank you for your understanding. During the winter season, we also offer pick-up service to the parking lot (2-3 minutes from Nishi Nasuno/Shiobara IC). Please consult us in advance.
