■By Car From Nagasaki City: Take National Route 34 → cross Yagami Bridge (toll road) → via Route 251 (about 1 hr 15 min from Nagasaki Station). From Fukuoka: Fukuoka Urban Expressway Tenjin-kita IC → Nagasaki Expressway Isahaya IC → National Route 57 → Route 251 toward Kuchinotsu (about 2 hr 30 min from Tenjin-kita IC). From Kumamoto: From central Kumamoto, take the ferry to Shimabara from Kumamoto New Port; from Shimabara Port, drive toward Obama (about 2 hr 30 min from central Kumamoto). ■By Air From Nagasaki Airport: Take a rental car or bus to Isahaya, then transfer to a bus bound for Kuchinotsu. Get off at Koritsu Obama Byoin-mae and walk about 3 minutes (about 1 hr 30 min from Nagasaki Airport). ■By Train ・From JR Hakata Station, take the Limited Express Kamome and get off at Isahaya Station. ・Transfer at the Isahaya Station Bus Terminal by Shimabara Railway bus or rental car. Get off at Minami-Hommachi Kominkan-mae and walk about 3 minutes (about 2 hr 30 min from Hakata Station). ■By Bus ・Nagasaki–Obama (Nagasaki Prefectural Bus) Board at the Nagasaki Station Bus Terminal; from Obama Terminal, it’s about a 3-minute taxi ride (about 1 hr 15 min from Nagasaki Station). ・Within Isahaya City Board a bus bound for Kuchinotsu at the Isahaya Station Bus Terminal.
