Yunomori is a small Ryokan nestled in a forest surrounded by bear bamboo and coniferous trees. We ensure comfort and attentiveness so you can visit repeatedly, cherishing relaxing moments with people and nature.
This was our third stay, and every year it exceeds our expectations. We checked in at 2:00 PM, and when we came out of the large public bath, it was raining. I had planned to go for a walk, but instead I was able to relax in the Room with a beer, which was great. The ReFa hair dryer in the Room was excellent as well. As for the food, the pumpkin fondue was outstanding—both the concept and the ingredients were wonderful. Every year there is some kind of surprising dish that delights us. I’ll work hard so we can come again next year!
松戸のデューク 8/11/2026This was our third stay—our first visit was in mid-August last year, then late March this year, and now late May. We were hoping to hear the spring cicadas and feel the fresh signs of spring, but we didn’t get to enjoy their chorus this time. If we had come a little later, we might have seen more wild mountain flowers as well. We did get to see deer and monkeys again.The sulfur-scented Onsen and the meals here suit us perfectly, so we keep coming back in different seasons. It’s fun how each visit brings new discoveries even in the same place. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, which makes our stay very comfortable. Unfortunately, we still haven’t seen a sky full of stars after sunset here, so we’re hoping to return again before midwinter.

The Rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, with a total of 12 Rooms. To make your time in the highlands even more memorable, we offer three thoughtfully designed Room types: "Japanese Modern," "European Style," and "ZEN." Whether you're a couple, friends, a young couple, a group of companions, or a hobby group, you can choose your preferred Room type based on the number of people and purpose of your stay. Surrounded by the nature of Oku-Nikko in all four seasons, our accommodations are highly praised by many guests for offering a unique and enjoyable stay, no matter who you come with or when you visit.
