ひな五郎さん 7/31/2026The Onsen had wonderful water and was very relaxing. The nodoguro at dinner was also delicious, rich and flavorful. We stayed in the best Room, and the two of us were able to unwind comfortably.

Current Yumotoya

Room
A property exuding the charm of Iwamuro Onsen, often referred to as the hidden retreat of Niigata. The elegant architectural beauty and sense of openness invite you to an extraordinary experience.

We have prepared dishes with inherited techniques and dedication, utilizing seasonal ingredients from each of the four seasons. Enjoy handmade dishes featuring freshly caught seafood from the Sea of Japan and seasonal ingredients.

Iwamuro Onsen, which once thrived as an entertainment area for visitors to Yahiko Shrine, has a legend of an injured wild goose that landed here and healed its wounds with the spring water. Even today, it attracts many tourists from within and outside the prefecture. The waters of Iwamuro Onsen are known to make the skin smooth.
