Relax in a Japanese-modern space at an Accommodation with views of Mt. Myojogatake.

A setting that exudes the warmth of wood, high-quality hot springs, and cuisine that blends Japanese and Western sensibilities—here, time gently envelops both body and soul in its embrace.

  • Despite a typhoon hitting directly, we enjoyed a 2-night, 3-day getaway. The property is very conveniently located just a short walk from the cable car station, Naka-Gora. The building felt exceptionally clean—perhaps because shoes are not allowed indoors. We made a Reservation for a Room with an open-air bath. Being able to bathe whenever we liked and enjoy views of the distant mountains was truly wonderful. The meals were delicious, and the staff’s warm, smiling service left a strong impression. However, we were a little surprised that toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and razors are provided for an additional fee—perhaps due to environmental considerations. We may have overlooked this before our trip…

  • I recently stayed here again after a long time. The room with an open-air bath allowed me to enjoy the Onsen without any worries and fully relax. For dinner, I opted for a light course. While I did think it would be nice to have Japanese cuisine as well, the meat was tender and delicious. I also appreciated being able to choose my meal options. Traveling with my elderly parents who have mobility issues, the shuttle bus service was truly helpful. Having a checkout time until 11:00 AM was great for allowing us to take our time and relax at our own pace. I will definitely come back again!

  • [Ayakan] Winner of the internationally prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2025

Thank you for your continued patronage of Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika.

We are pleased to announce that our Hotel has received the internationally prestigious design award, the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented each year by one of the world’s longest-established independent design organizations, recognizing outstanding design worldwide.
This time, Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika was selected in the Interior Architecture / Hospitality Interiors category from approximately 11,000 entries.

In January 2024, we opened Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika Aya Wing on an adjacent site as a new annex of Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika.

With the concept “Immerse yourself with all five senses and weave a rich passage of time,” this Hotel features Onsen open-air baths in every guest room and also offers fully equipped dog-friendly rooms—so not only guests but also their beloved dogs can enjoy a stay that engages all five senses and experience the charm of Hakone.

Scents carried on the breeze, seasonal scenery throughout the year, sounds heard in tranquil silence, gentle Hakone waters, and local flavors enjoyed while surrounded by the warmth of wood.
Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika will continue striving to be a Hotel where every guest can savor Hakone with all five senses and enjoy a memorable stay.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
