    We stayed here for a mother-and-daughters trip (three of us) to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday.We were also impressed that three beds were set up side by side.All the in-Room meals were delicious, and we enjoyed the dishes inspired by Mt. Fuji throughout—beautiful to look at as well.We could even see Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath in our Room, and we had a truly luxurious time.They also gave my mother a gift for her 90th birthday, which deeply moved us.My mother was thrilled, and it became a wonderful, unforgettable celebration.

  • A welcoming Accommodation filled with heartfelt hospitality.

    This was my second stay.Two floors of Hotel Kaneyamaen operate under a separate brand called Bessho Sasa.On my first visit, I was truly moved by the hospitality of all the staff, and I became a big fan of both Bessho Sasa and Kaneyamaen.Every staff member seems to always keep in mind how they can make guests happy.I’d give the service a full 10 stars.Upon arrival, you can enjoy amazake and matcha, which makes for a wonderful start to your stay.The property is spacious, and the gardens are expansive and beautiful.On a clear day with no clouds, you can see magnificent Mt. Fuji.The view of Mt. Fuji from the panoramic bath on the 10th floor is breathtaking.The meals are delicious and so generous that it’s hard to finish everything.After dinner, there is also a powerful taiko drum show.It’s incredibly impressive and full of energy.It’s very popular and seats fill up quickly, so if you want to sit and watch comfortably, I recommend going early.Even if you don’t get a seat, standing room is available.In short, there is an abundance of hospitality and events throughout your stay.As noted in the Accommodation’s information as well, if you want to fully enjoy the events, an early check-in is recommended.I was completely satisfied in every way.I will definitely return.
