Auberge Hanaki is a culinary Ryokan located in Izu-Ito Onsen, exclusively accommodating two groups per day. The Japanese-modern space, blending traditional and contemporary styles, offers a soothing retreat. There are only two rooms, each featuring an ancient hinoki wood bath. This is a small auberge situated along a tranquil riverside.

    The warm, welcoming atmosphere from everyone at the Ryokan was wonderful.The Room was clean and very relaxing.From the flavors to the presentation, the meals were truly enjoyable, delicious, and outstanding. The portions seemed a bit small at first, so if you let your guard down you might not make it to the end—happy problem to have. (Laughs)The beer in the Room wasn’t ice-cold, so next time I’ll grab one from the back!!I’ll visit again in a different season—thank you in advance.

  • It was a very cozy accommodation.

    I’m truly sorry for having to rush you due to our circumstances, but the meal was absolutely wonderful—everything from the tableware and presentation to the flavors. I only wish we could have enjoyed it more slowly.My son also said he definitely wants to visit again, so next time I hope we can invite my daughter and her husband and come together.We stayed in a Room on the 3rd floor. I can go up and down stairs normally now, but when my knees were bad, stairs were not possible for me. It may be a bit difficult for guests who need a cane.

Get off at JR Ito Station on the JR Ito Line, then take a taxi for about 10 minutes. The fare is approximately 1,000 yen (as of October 2007). Alternatively, get off at Minami-Ito Station on the JR Ito Line and walk for about 10 minutes.

From Tokyo: Take the Tomei Expressway to Atsugi I.C., then via Odawara-Atsugi Road to Atami, follow Route 135 to Ito, and continue on Route 136 to our facility.

From Nagoya: Take the Tomei Expressway to Numazu I.C., then via Route 136 through Ohito and follow Route 136 through Ito to our facility.
