This was our first visit.I saw my mother, who usually never asks for seconds, get another serving of rice for the first time. The food was truly delicious. Not only the cuisine, but also the heartfelt service made us very happy, and we were able to spend a wonderful time.My mother immediately started planning our next trip, saying, “Next time I want to bring the whole family.”We visit Ise Grand Shrine every year, so we would love to stay with you again next year.Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.
みらい時計 7/31/2026This was my second stay for a visit to Ise Grand Shrine, and everything was excellent. The in-Room bath was available anytime. Dinner at a nearby restaurant was delicious, and breakfast—so fitting for Ise’s Outer Shrine—was wonderful, as if filled with prayer. There was plenty of parking space, and the welcome drinks were well stocked. If I come again in the morning, I would definitely like to stay here again.

How to Spend Your Time in Ise
At Ise Shinsen, we curate a variety of shops so you can enjoy a fulfilling stay even while visiting Ise Grand Shrine. Along the Geku Sando, you’ll find dining options featuring the abundant ingredients of Ise-Shima, as well as souvenir shops offering local specialties; at the entrance to Geku Sando, there are also dessert cafés and more—please enjoy even more of what Ise has to offer.

Our gift shop offers a carefully selected lineup of signature specialties from Mie Prefecture and Ise, including local sake, Ise tea, pearl products, and Ise cotton. Inside the shop, you can enjoy a sake tasting experience comparing a wide variety of renowned brews. Take your time exploring traditional crafts passed down by master artisans and the charms of Ise—known as “Umashi Kuni”—and enjoy choosing the perfect keepsake.

One of the largest souvenir shops in the Ise Outer Shrine (Geku) Sando area offers a wide selection of local specialties from Ise-Shima, along with seafood and renowned sweets from across Mie Prefecture. Discover traditional crafts shaped by the history and culture of pilgrimage to Ise, and take your time choosing the perfect keepsake from your trip.

Located in front of Iseshi Station and at the entrance to the Ise Outer Shrine approach, our café offers a relaxing space and a selection of grab-and-go menu items. Enjoy our slow-brewed cold drip coffee and hand-dripped charcoal-roasted coffee, along with seasonal sweets and rich castella made at the adjacent confectionery workshop. Savor gently bitter coffee paired with quality sweets for a blissful moment.

We offer a wide variety of dishes prepared using diverse cooking methods so you can fully enjoy the freshness of Ise’s abundant local ingredients. In addition to set meals featuring seafood, we also serve seafood rice bowls and a range of side dishes such as grilled items, sashimi, and seafood soup. Enjoy delicious local Ise-Shima cuisine paired with Mie Prefecture’s renowned sake and regional brews.

We offer a wide selection of exceptional Japanese ceramics, including Mino ware and other renowned traditional kilns such as Seto ware, Tokoname ware, Shigaraki ware, as well as local Mie Prefecture favorites like Iga ware and Yokkaichi Banko ware. We have visited many kilns and artists across the Tokai region—known as a treasure trove of pottery—and carefully selected pieces ranging from everyday tableware to handcrafted vessels by individual artists. Toyouke Omikami (Geku/Outer Shrine) is revered as the deity of daily life and industry who provides meals for Amaterasu Omikami (Naiku/Inner Shrine). By experiencing tableware in this place, you can enjoy time that feels even more connected to its history and culture.
