This Ryokan is a beautifully renovated long-established inn. The guest rooms are on the second floor, and access to all public areas on the first floor is by stairs only, so it is not recommended for guests who have difficulty with stairs; otherwise, everything was excellent. Dinner was so plentiful we couldn’t finish it, and it was delicious. We also really enjoyed that the tableware was made from local pottery. The yudofu (tofu hot pot) at breakfast was also very tasty, and we ended up eating too much. Check-out was at 10:00, and we wished it had been 11:00 so we could have had a more relaxed morning.
イズ@ 1/10/2026The staff were all wonderful. The food was excellent, especially the Ise lobster sashimi, breakfast yudofu, Ise lobster miso soup, and rice porridge. However, the lack of an elevator and steep stairs were a downside, making it difficult for older guests. The Room and stone sauna were also small, which was another negative point.
