I had always wanted to stay at this Hotel, so I booked it for my mother’s birthday.It was just as wonderful as I imagined. The signature breakfast was delicious, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent.It became a truly special memory!I would love to stay again!

The service was especially outstanding—truly what you would expect from a classic Hotel.The property and the Room were both very clean, and we booked a Plan with breakfast and dinner. Breakfast offered more variety than we could finish, everything was delicious, and it was the best buffet breakfast we’ve ever had.Dinner was Japanese cuisine and it was excellent.For lunch we had sushi, and before dinner we used the café; it was very comfortable, and the cake was surprisingly delicious.This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again.Thank you very much.

The Tokyo Station Hotel opened in 1915, the year following the opening of Tokyo Station, as a European-style Hotel with 58 guest rooms and banquet halls. With its magnificent architecture and state-of-the-art Facilities, it welcomed numerous distinguished guests from both Japan and abroad. During the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, while many Hotels collapsed or were destroyed by fire, it accommodated a large number of evacuees. After resuming operations following World War II, it introduced Japan's first popular coffee shop and a main bar that would later produce a legendary bartender. The Hotel was beloved by many literary figures and served as the setting for works such as Edogawa Ranpo's "The Fiend with Twenty Faces" and Hyakken Uchida's "Ahou Ressha." In the late 1950s, authors like Yasunari Kawabata and Seicho Matsumoto stayed and wrote here. In 2006, the Hotel temporarily closed its operations to undergo preservation and restoration work on the Marunouchi station building of Tokyo Station. After a complete renovation of all Facilities, it reopened on October 3, 2012.

The Marunouchi Station Building of Tokyo Station, which has stood for approximately 100 years since its establishment in 1914, was designed by Kingo Tatsuno, one of the leading architects of the Meiji era. This steel-framed brick structure, exuding both dignity and warmth, has been cherished as a symbol of Tokyo, the capital of Japan. In 1945, during World War II, the building suffered damage from air raids, losing its roof and other parts. During its reconstruction, the original three-story structure was modified to two stories. Later designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, the building underwent preservation and restoration work from 2006, regaining its original splendor from the time of its creation. This restoration project also contributes to the formation of a dignified urban space befitting the capital, as part of the ongoing initiative to create "a globally leading, vibrant, and attractive international city" in Tokyo.
