I arrived a little earlier than the expected arrival time I entered during the Reservation, but I was promptly picked up, which was very helpful as it was snowing. The Room was lovely, and the meals were extremely delicious. It was a trip for a special occasion, and I had a luxurious day that made it truly memorable. I would love to stay here again.

Main Gate
Bettei Himawari offers four unique accommodation types. The Flat Wing features private garden open-air baths in every room, prioritizing privacy. The Maisonette Wing boasts high ceilings and luxurious use of the entire second floor, complete with panoramic open-air baths. The Classic Wing emphasizes a classical atmosphere with a gentle design unified by William Morris decor. Each wing has its own distinct charm, ensuring an enjoyable stay for all guests.
Classic Building 1st Floor Dining
As you open the gate, a lush green carpet stretches out before you. The white facade of the Classic Hall and the blue sky heighten the excitement for your upcoming Sunflower Stay.
The Maisonette building features a second floor accessible via a spiral staircase, while the Flat building offers an open-air bath in the courtyard... Relax and unwind while gazing at the starry sky. (The bath in the room is not Onsen.)

Tohoku Expressway: Urawa I.C. → Utsunomiya I.C. (approx. 100 km)
Nikko-Utsunomiya Road: Utsunomiya I.C. → exit at Nikko I.C.; approx. 3 minutes
After exiting Nikko I.C., turn right onto the local road. At the Hoden intersection, proceed diagonally to the right (toward Utsunomiya). Pass the first traffic light and continue for 40 meters.
The Accommodation is on your left (along National Route 119, Nikko Kaido).
*Some car navigation systems may direct you to Shichiri Community Center; please note that “Bettei Himawari” is located along Nikko Kaido.

Tobu Line: Get off at Tobu-Nikko Station (approx. 100 minutes from Tobu-Asakusa Station by Limited Express Spacia)
JR Line: Get off at JR Nikko Station (approx. 50 minutes from Tokyo Station to Utsunomiya Station by Tohoku Shinkansen, then approx. 40 minutes from Utsunomiya Station on the JR Nikko Line)
*Limited Express Spacia trains with through service are available from Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Urawa, and Omiya Stations.
(Some trains require a transfer at Shimo-Imaichi Station.)
Please note that IC cards such as Suica and PASMO cannot be used on the direct Limited Express Spacia services from Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Urawa, and Omiya Stations.

What kind of hygiene management is being conducted?
Measures Against COVID-19 As part of our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Bettei Himawari is implementing the following measures where service details may be adjusted so that guests can stay with peace of mind. Dining Partitions have been installed in the restaurant area. In addition, course meals may be served in several dishes at a time (there will be no changes to the menu). In the Classic Building, we offer a Plan that allows you to dine in your Room. In addition to regular cleaning, we carry out disinfecting cleaning throughout the property. We frequently wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs using alcohol-based disinfectant. Disinfectant is available throughout the property. We also ventilate areas such as the lobby and dining room frequently.
