  • A Comfortable Stay

    The beach was right in front of us, and from the rooftop Onsen pool we had a panoramic view over Karatsu city. We were welcomed with a cake, and there were also sweets in our Room, plus a whole lineup of ice cream before the bath. The breakfast buffet was so plentiful we couldn’t finish it, with an excellent selection of desserts as well. As expected from Chateraise—I wished we could have stayed one more night.

  • All three generations enjoyed it.

    We stayed here for a three-generation family trip. My parents (three in their 80s) have aches and pains in their knees, backs, and more, so we wanted beds and a place where they could enjoy the views of the Karatsu sea and pine grove—so we chose this seaside Hotel. The Room had a wonderful ocean view, with sweeping scenery from Karatsu town all the way to Itoshima. The wind was strong and the waves were high, but that was part of the charm. The Room felt spacious, and we loved that the living area and bedroom can be separated with a movable door. My parents also said it was great that they didn’t hear footsteps when someone went to the toilet at night (a big plus when sharing a Room). There is also a large public bath, which my parents were very happy with. The in-room bathroom has a separate washing area, and the vanity can be used by two people at once, so getting ready in the morning wasn’t crowded—perfect. Breakfast offered so many options that it was hard to choose (a happy problem). It was crowded during the holiday weekend, but that’s understandable given how popular it is. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.
