  • I found this Facility on IKYU and liked it so much that I made a Reservation. Just as expected, I thoroughly enjoyed the Facility, the meals, and the Onsen (ceramic bath). During a conversation with the staff at dinner, we talked about Hachimantai’s Dragon Eye. They told me they had gone there after borrowing rental boots and that it was wonderful. So I went the next day right away. Like Zao Okama last year, I was moved by the breathtaking scenery. It was a truly great stay—enjoying both the magnificent nature and the delicious meals at the Facility. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

  • During Golden Week, we stayed one night at this Accommodation while traveling around Tohoku. The Room was spacious, with a separate bedroom and living area, plus a washbasin area and toilet. Everything was clean and well maintained. The shared areas also offered plenty to enjoy outside the Room, including massage chairs, a reading space, and a footbath.Meals were served in a relaxing semi-private setting where we could take our time; both the presentation and taste were excellent. In particular, we were extremely satisfied with the breakfast buffet—it was outstanding. The baths also had various tubs, and there was even time when I could use them privately. In the rain, with cherry blossom petals drifting down, it felt like an atmospheric space. However, one disappointment was that although I had heard women could choose their yukata, the dresser was locked so this wasn’t possible. There was no explanation of usage hours at check-in either; I would have appreciated clear guidance posted in front of the dresser. That left me quite disappointed.

Spring quality and benefits

Sodium-Calcium Sulfate-Chloride Onsen (Mildly Alkaline)

Dry skin / Sensitivity to cold / Fatigue recovery / Chronic joint pain / Muscle aches, etc. ■ Smooth skin… Baking soda helps break down surface oils and old dead skin cells. ■ Improved sensitivity to cold… Salt that adheres to the skin helps prevent sweat from evaporating, providing a warming effect that keeps you feeling warm even after bathing.
