    Remembering how delicious the food was when I previously visited with my daughter, my spouse and I returned this time.We arrived by car a little before 3:00 p.m., but many staff members greeted us with warm smiles, which was very reassuring.All of the staff were wonderful, and both the Facility and our Room were clean and comfortable.Dining in the stillness, with only the sound of evening cicadas in the background, each dish was thoughtfully crafted and looked as beautiful as it tasted. We were also delighted by an extra chef’s special that wasn’t on the menu—it felt truly heartfelt.As a history enthusiast, I signed up for the “Mystery-Solving Adventure: Discover History and Stories.” I didn’t feel much of a historical element, but solving puzzles while enjoying our meal was more than enjoyable.Even though we stayed at a great value using IKYU Earn Points, we were also given prizes, which made us feel almost undeserving.This is an Accommodation I would definitely recommend to others.I’d love to visit again in another season.Thank you for such a wonderful time.

  • It was very comfortable.

    The Room’s bath was spacious and very relaxing. Since I’m not good with insects, I’m glad I chose a Room with an observation bath rather than an open-air bath.The meals were also delicious.I could tell the younger staff were working very hard.I would definitely like to stay again.

- To fully enjoy the seasonal flavors of Hokkaido and local Hakone, we offer both dinner and breakfast in a relaxed private room. - For Multiple Night Stays, we provide different menus so you can enjoy seasonal ingredients every day. - For both dinner and breakfast, we serve freshly cooked Hokkaido-grown rice "Fukkurinko" and "Yumepirika" in a traditional Mie Prefecture craft "Banko-yaki" pot. - During your stay, all 10 guest rooms are equipped with either an open-air bath or a scenic bath, allowing you to relax in our prideful Onsen. - The Onsen features acidic sulfate and chloride hot springs from Owakudani Onsen. Enjoy the milky white water. - The refrigerator in the guest room is stocked with four types of complimentary drinks (mineral water, tea, and two types of beer). - Wireless LAN is installed in all 10 rooms.

The menu features visually appealing and delicious Japanese modern cuisine, primarily using local ingredients from Hokkaido, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Yamanashi, and other regions, ensuring freshness and safety. For breakfast, you can choose grilled fish from local seasonal fish and seasonal fish from Hokkaido.

  • [Important] Notice of Temporary Suspension of Reservations Due to Renovation Work for the “Shion” Guest Room

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Kitano Kaze Saryo.

    We will be carrying out repair work in guest room “Shion (207)” to ensure safety due to age-related deterioration of the exterior wall. With our guests’ comfort and safety as our top priority, we will temporarily suspend Reservation acceptance for this room during the construction period stated below.

    In addition, as part of this project, we will install a private sauna on the terrace and renew the room as a “Terrace with Sauna,” offering an even more relaxing experience.



    ● Period: Scheduled from Tuesday, September 1, 2026 to Sunday, October 4, 2026
