"Welcome back, it's been a while." Such warm and simple greetings can still be heard here in Amatsu-Kominato, Minamiboso.
Given the location, it may be no surprise that the fish is delicious, but the soup and side dishes were also excellent. The cooking showed outstanding taste and skill. Breakfast in particular was impressive—generous in portion size and well balanced.We stayed as a family in two Rooms. The special Room in the main building was very relaxing, with a living room overlooking the sea and a bedroom with a massage chair and a large TV. The detached annex was spacious and stylish with a modern feel, and we slept very well there.This was entirely our mistake, but thank you for kindly helping us look for our lost item.A wonderful Accommodation.

There was also a local festival that day, which gave me a special opportunity to experience the surrounding culture. The view from the bath overlooked the harbor and had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was happy there was also a sauna and cold plunge. I also truly appreciated the flexible Shuttle Service, which made my trip much more convenient.

Onsen
Introducing our ocean-view open-air bath and sauna. Experience ultimate relaxation as the horizon stretches before you, where the sea and sky blend seamlessly. At night, enjoy a breathtaking starry sky accompanied by the soothing sound of waves, offering a blissful moment of tranquility. Immerse yourself in this luxurious healing space, surrounded by the sound of waves and sea breeze, for a true sense of harmony with nature.
Guest Rooms
Our rooms offer a serene space that combines traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort. To suit your travel style, the main building features Standard Japanese-style Rooms, Atago-an Rooms with private bathrooms, and Special Rooms. In our newly opened annex, we offer two distinct types of accommodations. Choose from a variety of meticulously designed rooms to match your preferences.
Sauna
Our facility offers not only relaxation in the Onsen but also a fully equipped sauna. Enjoy refreshing yourself by sweating out daily fatigue in a sauna with optimal temperature and humidity. After the sauna, cool down with a cold water bath or outdoor air bath to enhance blood circulation and detox effects. This facility is designed to satisfy health-conscious guests as well.

| About Hygiene Measures | At Horaiya, starting June 1, in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines for Accommodation facilities, all staff will implement the following infection prevention measures.
To prioritize our guests’ peace of mind and safety and to reduce the risk of infection for other guests and our staff, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Measures within the Accommodation
- All staff will undergo a health check upon arrival at work and perform regular hand sanitization.
- All staff will wear masks.
- Staff will be instructed to maintain appropriate social distancing.
- Alcohol-based sanitizer is available in all guest Rooms and shared areas.
- Shared areas will be regularly disinfected and sanitized.
- Ventilation will be thoroughly maintained in shared areas and guest Rooms in use.
- We ask our suppliers/contractors to wear masks and follow strict hygiene practices.
Check-in
- For the time being, we will refrain from moving guests’ vehicles or providing key-holding services.
- Please have passengers and luggage unloaded in front of the entrance.

- Other members of your party are asked to wait in the lobby/lounge or in your Room.
