  • This is our go-to place to stay in Ito—decided!

    This was my first stay here. Although it was listed as “limited availability due to exterior construction,” it didn’t bother me at all. (The view from the large public bath was more than enough!) The Japanese-style room was spacious, and I felt truly pampered. The 15 m pool was small but still very satisfying, and the hot-spring public bath and sauna were excellent. I love walking around town, so I explored the covered shopping street from Ito Station on the way—and it felt like, “Wait, I’m already at the hotel?” I’d like to make this my regular place to stay whenever I visit Ito.

    I have stayed here many times, and I love how Mr. Ito’s space has never changed over the years—the spacious Room and the cleanliness of the bath are always consistent. However, this time the Italian-style meal was a bit difficult for us, as we are over 60. I understand that meals are probably the toughest part these days. Rising ingredient costs and the difficulty of hiring chefs really come through to us as we stay at various Accommodations. These days, it has become truly rare to find an Accommodation where all three—bath, Room, and meals—can be rated highly. Ito is a treasure trove of seafood, which is why it’s always enjoyable no matter how many times we visit. We look forward to enjoying delicious meals again, and we will definitely stop by again. Thank you for the wonderful travel memories.
