The Capitol Hotel Tokyu offers exceptional access with direct connections to Kokkai-gijidomae and Tameike-Sanno Stations, yet is surrounded by the lush greenery of Hie Shrine, providing a calm retreat from the city’s bustle. In addition to 251 guest rooms including 13 suites, the Hotel features five dining and bar venues, five banquet rooms including the 540 m² “Phoenix,” a members-only fitness club with a 20-meter indoor pool, as well as a spa and barber. Welcoming guests from around the world, it delivers refined Japanese hospitality and a sense of “nagomi” that frees you from everyday life—an one-of-a-kind Hotel where authentic Japanese aesthetics are carried through in every detail.

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu offers 251 spacious rooms, including 13 suites, all measuring 45 m² or more. Incorporating traditional Japanese architectural elements such as shoji screens and fusuma sliding doors, the refined modern Japanese design creates a calming atmosphere. From the windows, enjoy panoramic views over Tokyo, including the National Diet Building.

The gentle hill of Hie Shrine, where the Hotel stands, has long been known as a scenic spot for beautiful stargazing. From the late Taisho era to the early Showa era, it flourished as a place of gathering under the members-only restaurant “Hoshioka Saryo,” led by renowned gourmet Rosanjin Kitaoji. With this enduring spirit of hospitality, and with touches of modern Japanese design woven throughout to offer guests a new sense of delight, we named it “The Capitol Lounge SaRyoh.” At the entrance, Nishijin-ori artwork welcomes guests. Step into the lounge and panoramic views unfold over Tokyo, including the National Diet Building, the Imperial Palace, and Marunouchi. In one corner, tatami-style seating is arranged around a tea kettle in homage to a traditional tea setting. Here we prepare beverages using the kettle and also offer our Executive Chef’s carefully curated breakfast and light meals. For this renewal, inspired by the name “SaRyoh” (tea salon), we have also expanded our selection with more refined beverages.

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu preserves not only the design of its current building, but also many artworks inherited from the former Hotel. We are pleased to introduce the art pieces that adorn the Hotel interior.
