[Notice of the Introduction of Accommodation Tax (for stays from February 1, 2027)]
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Grandvrio Resort Ishigakijima.
We would like to inform you that Okinawa Prefecture will introduce an “Accommodation Tax” for stays from Monday, February 1, 2027.
■ From February 1, 2027:
Applicable amount: 2% of the Accommodation Fee (excluding tax) per person per night
Maximum: JPY 2,000 per person per night
* Even if you have already paid your Accommodation Fee in advance (e.g., by credit card), payment of the Accommodation Tax will be required separately at check-out.
* For online Reservations, please note that the Accommodation Fee shown on the screen includes consumption tax but does not include the Accommodation Tax.
* Even if your Reservation was made on or before January 31, 2027, the Accommodation Tax will apply to stays from February 1, 2027 onward.
* The Accommodation Tax may be exempted for school trips and other educational/research activities, as well as certain community club activities associated with the regional expansion of extracurricular activities at junior high schools and similar institutions. To receive an exemption, you must submit a certificate to the Accommodation.
* If there are any tax law changes after your Reservation is made, we will adjust the billed amount in accordance with the new tax rules applicable on your stay date. Thank you for your understanding.
