Here at Shōbun, you can experience the scent of the wind, the sound of insects, the murmur of streams, and the twinkle of stars. Please relax and enjoy your stay at this heartfelt rural property.
This was my second stay this year since my visit in June. I stayed in a detached Room and was able to relax deeply. The meals are described as “Yamabito cuisine,” and they were delicious, healthy, and truly something you can’t easily experience elsewhere. Thank you very much.
pumaet 8/26/2026This was our first stay here with four friends from high school, and we were able to relax in a Room with a spacious layout. In addition to the charm of the old folk house–style Room, the quality of the meals exceeded our expectations. Fresh vegetables were brought to our table prepared in a variety of ways, making for an enjoyable dinner. There is no large public bath, but between the rock semi-open-air bath and what I believe was a hinoki wood bath in the Room, as an Onsen lover, soaking in the wooden bath was pure bliss. I gave it 4 points because there were too few washing stations in the private bath area, and perhaps because it was set up for summer, the amenities leaned more toward men’s items and were not very convenient for women. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about. We left this Accommodation saying we’d all like to come again.

Within the bright and well-ventilated premises surrounded by seasonal trees, we offer "rooms with open-air baths" in both the detached villa-style accommodations and the main building exuding the charm of traditional houses.
The Japanese-style rooms, enveloped in the tranquility of natural wood, include four detached open-air bath rooms and five main building rooms with open-air baths, totaling nine rooms. Each room features a unique layout, allowing you to choose according to your preference. To ensure your utmost relaxation, staff will not enter your room unless called. Please enjoy the leisurely and serene time.
2 private baths Onsen Minakami
Our facility features a semi-open-air private bath. The clear and gentle "Hōju no Yu" Onsen is perfect for a relaxing soak. You can enjoy the spacious Onsen with your companions or family without any worries, as it is available as a complimentary private bath.
Vegetables and rice carefully cultivated in fields, wild plants and mushrooms harvested together, river fish raised in clear streams, and homemade ingredients are our special offerings.
