    For my first solo trip, I chose Yamaguchi Prefecture—a place I had never visited before—and drove from Fukuoka in a rental car. I selected this Accommodation as the first stop of a journey that marked an important turning point in my life. While I was feeling tense driving in an unfamiliar area, I managed to arrive safely, and the warm welcome from the staff and their friendly conversation immediately put me at ease. The Room was lovely, and the Onsen water felt gentle on the skin, allowing me to truly relax. It’s not flashy; if you’re looking for a calm and quiet stay, I highly recommend it! I booked a Plan with breakfast only, and it was delicious. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay here again.

  • Night 4 of a 10-day, 9-night trip

    On the second day of our road trip, we met up with our daughter who had flown in, and the three of us stayed here.The Room was a detached type and very spacious and easy to use. We used the open-air bath in the Room in the morning, and after we arrived my daughter and I used the large public bath at the neighboring Ryokan. The bathhouse was in an older building, but it was great—especially since it felt like we had it all to ourselves.Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying.If possible, it would have been even better if the fugu sashimi had been served before the shabu-shabu.Just one point: perhaps unavoidable for the season, but there were quite a lot of mosquitoes. The Room was fine with a mosquito repellent, but we had to battle them while using the open-air bath.The service was excellent, and my wife and daughter were both very satisfied.
