  • As it’s close to Zao, this was my first stay at this Accommodation. To put it mildly, it’s one of the best Accommodations I’ve ever stayed at.It’s fairly large, so the interiors and lobby are well appointed, but above all it’s quiet and comfortable. The large public bath with an open-air bath is excellent, and the teppanyaki cuisine was outstanding. There was nothing to complain about. The service struck just the right balance, everything was impeccably clean, and I truly enjoyed my stay.

  • My spouse and I stayed for two nights. At first, we made a Reservation through Chikusenso’s website, but there was a limited-time offer on IKYU, so we changed the Reservation to one via IKYU. As our stay approached, Chikusenso contacted us to confirm. When rebooking on IKYU, we did not note that we are not fond of seafood, but they kindly called to double-check because the canceled Reservation on Chikusenso’s website mentioned it. We truly appreciated their thoughtful attention.Dinner was kaiseki cuisine, and even without using seafood it was just as delicious as the standard kaiseki menu.We could also feel the considerate care of all the staff and were able to relax. The Onsen left our skin silky smooth and warmed us through to the core.
