A Hotel recognized by Michelin, offering relaxation with the sound of waves and sea breeze while overlooking Kumano-nada.

■ Set amid pristine nature and timeless history, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage setting. ■ A rich variety of fish landed at the Kii-Nagashima Fishing Port. At our Hotel restaurant—like a small fish market—you can choose the fish for today’s meal yourself. ■ The stone-paved Kumano Kodo, which has carried people’s prayers since ancient times. Our own natural hot spring, “Kihoku Sennen Onsen,” named with the wish that it will endure for a thousand years to come, offers a smooth and soothing bathing experience. These three charms come together to embrace you in a calm moment—like waves gently repeating their rhythm.

  • It was our first time staying at this Accommodation, and we were able to relax and take our time.Since we had a Room with an open-air bath, it was great to be able to bathe as many times as we wanted without worrying about the time. The Hotel staff told us that deer come into the garden, and although we were skeptical, we were truly surprised to see them from our Room.We look forward to staying again next time.

  • Everything was highly satisfying. From the interior to the amenities, there were thoughtful touches throughout. The air purifier was one of them and was a big help. The bed height was slightly low, which was just right. There was also a chair at the sink, making it easy to brush my teeth comfortably.Even the faucet in the bedroom was incredibly convenient, and more. Both the meals and the baths were excellent.I especially liked being able to choose sashimi and having dried fish for breakfast.Thank you to the head chef. The bath wasn’t crowded, which made it even better.Soaking in the open-air bath, looking up at the sky, and listening to the quiet sound of waves brought relaxation to its peak.It turned into a wonderful trip.
