An Onsen accommodation preserving the culture of therapeutic bathing. Enjoy three different natural hot springs with various benefits, all in a free-flowing style.

Naruko Hotel is an Onsen Accommodation that carries on the hot-spring healing culture dating back to 1873. Enjoy a refined and relaxing stay.\n\nJapan is said to have 11 types of hot-spring water, and Naruko Onsenkyo offers 9 of them. Our Hotel has three private spring sources (sulfur–sodium–chloride and sulfate springs), known for benefits such as promoting beautiful skin, supporting women’s health, easing rheumatism, and relieving neuralgia.\n\nOur free-flowing natural spring water changes color depending on the outside air and humidity—ranging from clear to clear green, milky white, or olive green—so you can enjoy subtle seasonal variations.\n\nA naturally gushing spring that rises from deep underground is managed around the clock by five dedicated bath attendants.

  • The meals, the Onsen, and the service—everything was absolutely satisfying!!The lounge and the puzzle-solving activities were also very enjoyable.I would love to visit again.Although I had mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking room, I truly appreciated how quickly you accommodated my request to change it.Thank you very much for all your help.Thank you.

  • I had seen some Reviews saying the meals weren’t that great, but when I actually went...I chose the kaiseki Plan, and it was delicious with generous portions—nothing to complain about!Breakfast was a buffet, with so many things I wanted to eat that I ended up completely full.As for the baths, nothing to complain about! It was an extremely satisfying stay at Naruko Hotel.

  • A baton passed down from our 97-year-old proprietress to our staff.

Last year, our beloved Grand Proprietress retired at the age of 97.
For many years, she greeted each guest at the live breakfast kitchen,
serving anko mochi with a warm smile.
What she truly wished to share was not only the taste of the mochi,
but also “the spirit of hospitality that brings a smile to guests first thing in the morning.”
That is why, to deliver that spirit directly to our guests,
we—the on-site service staff who meet you every day—
have inherited her treasured recipe and heartfelt dedication firsthand.
Gently sweet anko mochi, filled with her care in everything from cooking to shaping.
Every morning, we hand-roll each piece with sincere care at the venue.
