Nestled in the lush greenery of the Kirishima mountain range and surrounded by the soft pink hues of Miyama Kirishima, "Kirishima Yuku no Yado Isshin" is a hidden retreat in Takachiho with a theme of a modern otherworldly space. On its expansive grounds, eight Japanese-style modern detached guest rooms are arranged around a water basin with beautiful flowing water. From each guest room, you can see the steam rising from the private Onsen sourced from its own spring, and the aroma of Kagoshima's local ingredients fills the air. By blending nature and modernism, this Property offers a luxurious space that indulges in atmosphere, Onsen, cuisine, and hospitality, healing the hearts of each guest and captivating their spirits.
Each villa has its own indoor bath and open-air Onsen, so even elderly guests were able to relax and enjoy it at their own pace. The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The garden and reflecting pool were also beautifully maintained and a pleasure to look at. The meals were excellent in both ingredients and preparation, and everything was delicious. The dashi was rich in flavor, and we were truly impressed by the chef’s careful work. The staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles and kindly assisted our elderly guest with luggage, meal service, and more. We felt refreshed both physically and mentally. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

The bath had two private Onsen, and it was the most relaxing stay we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Kagoshima!
