  • We had a great time!

    From the moment we arrived, the staff’s courteous service made us look forward to a wonderful stay. The Room felt open and airy, with lush greenery visible through large windows, and the layout was thoughtfully designed for ease of use. The very spacious semi-open-air bath was at just the right temperature, so we ended up soaking for a long time; perhaps thanks to the spring quality as well, we felt warmed through to our core. The meals used a wide variety of ingredients, were clearly explained, and offered delicious dishes with plenty of variety. Given our age, there was more than enough in both quantity and quality without ordering anything extra, and we were very satisfied. Because it is not a large Accommodation, getting around was easy and stress-free without any chance of getting lost, which we also appreciated. Even at departure they took great care in seeing us off—an Accommodation that left us with a pleasant afterglow. The total cost can vary widely depending on food and drinks (wine), but this time we felt it was an excellent value for money. We have one more favorite Accommodation in Hakone now.

  • Highly satisfied with the hospitality

    I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but I may have never felt this comfortable anywhere else. We decided to go to Hakone on short notice and made a Reservation.The food was beyond words—watching it disappear was genuinely sad (in the best way).When my father dropped his napkin and I went to pick it up, a staff member immediately came over and brought a fresh one. Even though our Reservation was last-minute, they also prepared an anniversary message plate for my parents. This is true hospitality!The open-air bath in the Room was pure luxury, and the water felt wonderful.This is an Accommodation I definitely want to return to. Thank you so much!

    In a section of the main dining area, we offer more than 50 types of bottled wine available to enjoy in the restaurant, over 100 varieties of distilled spirits including whiskies from around the world, and more than 50 types of craft gin.
    We also offer non-alcoholic cocktails for guests who prefer not to drink alcohol.

    Please note that the lounge is closed on certain days.

    Early check-in is available from 2:00 PM for an additional fee of JPY 4,000 (excluding tax).
    Same-day requests may be accommodated depending on availability, so please contact us by phone. (0460-84-0501)

    If early check-in is not available due to cleaning conditions, you are welcome to relax until standard check-in time while enjoying tea time at our main restaurant with scenic views.

    In a corner of our main dining room overlooking the Hakone outer rim mountains, we offer not only tea-time selections such as coffee and carefully selected organic teas, but also alcoholic beverages including craft beer and highballs.

[Notice: Resumption of Owakudani Onsen Water Supply] Thank you for your continued patronage of Hakone Fontaine Bleau Sengokutei. Due to a landslide at the source area caused by heavy rain, the supply of Owakudani Onsen was temporarily suspended. We sincerely apologize for the long wait and truly appreciate the many guests who have continued to visit us during this time. We are pleased to announce that as of December 1, 2025, we have returned to using the original Owakudani source. However, because the spring temperature remains lower and there is still an insufficient amount of mineral deposits (yunohana), it has not yet fully recovered to the milky-white cloudy water as before. (From Shinjuku) Take the Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto Station. Transfer to a bus bound for Kojiri/Togendai and get off at “Hakone Country Iriguchi.”
(From Osaka) Take the JR Shinkansen to Odawara Station. Transfer to a bus bound for Kojiri/Togendai and get off at “Hakone Country Iriguchi.”

■By Car
From Tomei Gotemba IC: Head toward Hakone via Route 138 → Otome Bypass → turn right at Sengokuhara Intersection onto Prefectural Route 75 → after the Meissen Museum, turn right at the sign “Hakone Country Iriguchi” → at the T-junction, turn left and continue 200 m to reach the Accommodation (about 30 minutes).
Car / From Tomei Numazu IC: Take Route 1 via Mishima → Hakone Skyline → Kojiri/Togendai Exit, turn left → Prefectural Route 75 → turn left at the entrance sign “Hakone Country Iriguchi” → at the T-junction, turn left and continue 200 m to reach the Accommodation (about 60 minutes).
*In winter, snow chains may be required depending on weather conditions.

In recent years, many gas stations in the Hakone area have closed, so fueling options nearby are limited. If you are driving, we recommend arriving with extra fuel. As there are many mountain roads and unexpected traffic delays can increase fuel consumption, topping up before departure will help ensure a worry-free stay.
