  • Highly satisfied with the hospitality

    I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but I may have never felt this comfortable anywhere else. We decided to go to Hakone on short notice and made a Reservation.The food was beyond words—watching it disappear was genuinely sad (in the best way).When my father dropped his napkin and I went to pick it up, a staff member immediately came over and brought a fresh one. Even though our Reservation was last-minute, they also prepared an anniversary message plate for my parents. This is true hospitality!The open-air bath in the Room was pure luxury, and the water felt wonderful.This is an Accommodation I definitely want to return to. Thank you so much!

  • We visited as a coup...

    We visited as a couple. In the quiet, calm atmosphere, we were able to truly relax. The temperature seemed a little cooler than in areas with extreme heat, and the midsummer Onsen was wonderful—we enjoyed the semi-open-air bath in our Room many times. The meals we had been looking forward to exceeded expectations at both dinner and breakfast: taste, presentation, ambiance, and the staff—everything was excellent. We both like alcohol but aren’t very strong drinkers, so it’s a shame we couldn’t try the tempting wines, but even so we felt completely satisfied. We’re already discussing which season to visit next.

[Notice: Resumption of Owakudani Onsen Water Supply] Thank you for your continued patronage of Hakone Fontaine Bleau Sengokutei. Due to a landslide at the source area caused by heavy rain, the supply of Owakudani Onsen was temporarily suspended. We sincerely apologize for the long wait and truly appreciate the many guests who have continued to visit us during this time. We are pleased to announce that as of December 1, 2025, we have returned to using the original Owakudani source. However, because the spring temperature remains lower and there is still an insufficient amount of mineral deposits (yunohana), it has not yet fully recovered to the milky-white cloudy water as before. (From Shinjuku) Take the Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto Station. Transfer to a bus bound for Kojiri/Togendai and get off at “Hakone Country Iriguchi.”
(From Osaka) Take the JR Shinkansen to Odawara Station. Transfer to a bus bound for Kojiri/Togendai and get off at “Hakone Country Iriguchi.”

■By Car
From Tomei Gotemba IC: Head toward Hakone via Route 138 → Otome Bypass → turn right at Sengokuhara Intersection onto Prefectural Route 75 → after the Meissen Museum, turn right at the sign “Hakone Country Iriguchi” → at the T-junction, turn left and continue 200 m to reach the Accommodation (about 30 minutes).
Car / From Tomei Numazu IC: Take Route 1 via Mishima → Hakone Skyline → Kojiri/Togendai Exit, turn left → Prefectural Route 75 → turn left at the entrance sign “Hakone Country Iriguchi” → at the T-junction, turn left and continue 200 m to reach the Accommodation (about 60 minutes).
*In winter, snow chains may be required depending on weather conditions.

In recent years, many gas stations in the Hakone area have closed, so fueling options nearby are limited. If you are driving, we recommend arriving with extra fuel. As there are many mountain roads and unexpected traffic delays can increase fuel consumption, topping up before departure will help ensure a worry-free stay.
