  • I visited by car with my husband and son on our first family trip in a while. We were delighted by the elegant lobby and lounge, beautifully decorated with flowers and furnishings, and by the stunning view of the cove from the windows. The cave-style bath we had been looking forward to, as well as the panoramic bath, were wonderfully relaxing, with silky-smooth water as we enjoyed the scenery. For dinner, we had an exquisite kaiseki course in a private dining room. We chose sashimi made from locally caught fish of the day, and every dish was outstanding—beautifully presented with impressive table settings. We also enjoyed freshly grilled fugu prepared right in front of us, along with a sake tasting. After dinner, we played darts, enjoyed wine at the bar, and went back to the baths—making the most of our stay. Our Room also had a fantastic view, and we were able to truly unwind. This is an unforgettable Accommodation that I would love to visit again.

  • This was my third stay, and it’s an Accommodation that makes me want to come back even from far away. Above all, the view of Kujuku Bay is outstanding—the best part is being able to see the deep blue-green sea from everywhere: the Room, the baths, and the dining area. On the day I stayed, I enjoyed a soak while gazing at the moonlit sea and stars from one of the free private baths available to anyone when vacant. I also used the paid private standing bath as a special perk, and I liked how relaxing it felt with the dim lighting. As I believe I mentioned in a previous Review, the staff’s service is excellent. It’s rare to find so many pleasant young staff members, so I looked it up and felt it must be thanks to thorough hiring and training. They are truly a valuable asset, and I hope you will continue to uphold that philosophy. The meals are wonderful—not only in taste but also in their varied presentation and creative touches that never get boring and make me want to eat them again. The private dining room is also much appreciated. That said, since I don’t drink alcohol because I want to focus on enjoying the food, it was disappointing that the only complimentary drink was hot tea and that water was only available for purchase as deep ocean water. Even compared with cities, regular water here would be delicious too, so having complimentary water would be appreciated. Also, I would like face towels at the Room sink area; bath towels are thin… And while having free drinks in the refrigerator is very welcome, I don’t particularly like that tea—standard barley tea or roasted green tea (hojicha) would be appreciated.
